Scotland: Drug education campaign expands

The campaign is moving from a one-year trial into a two-year scheme to help anyone working with young people over 13 spot drug abuse and pass on information about the harm it can do.

The project, funded by the Scottish Executive, will involve Crew 2000 working in partnership with drug users, non-users, communities and other organisations.

John Arthur, manager of Crew 2000, said: "Often youth workers, teachers and carers don't feel they have enough knowledge or skills or they don't possess methods of broaching the subject with young people."
