"Daisy-chaining" is where young people get together for group sex, according to members of the Royal College of Nursing. A sexual health nurse in London added that it is "very new" and "only just starting to be talked about".

What is young people's immediate reaction to this practice? Are they aware of the sexual health and other risks involved? Does it seem likely to be widespread? Do young people think it is something that is more talked about and rumoured than real?

One 15-year-old told the Sunday Mirror that he had taken part in about 10 daisy-chain sessions with different people. "There's not always enough girls," he said. Why might this be?
