This new resource from the Children and Young People's HIV Network at the National Children's Bureau sets out schools' responsibilities towards children living with HIV and has advice on first aid, confidentiality, law, and creating a supportive environment. The guide was developed after consultation with schools, local authorities, parents, and young people living with HIV.

Assessing and Developing Communication and Thinking Skills in People with Autism and Communication Difficulties

This toolkit is designed to help parents and professionals observe and record how children use and understand language. It goes through a communication assessment record that assesses children's grammar, vocabulary, favourite topics of conversation, and levels of interaction. It also assesses children's thinking skills and their awareness of thoughts and feelings.
