What will it fund? All types of environmental projects. These might include turning derelict land into a park with play facilities or a wildlife area, tree planting, creating a pond for wildlife, renovating neglected riversides or canal paths or establishing water butts and recycling projects in village halls and community centres. Money can go toward the hire of tools or equipment or purchasing plants, paint, signs, building materials and so on. A detailed budget down to the last pot of paint is not required but there will need to be some kind of description of exactly what work is planned and how much it is likely to cost.
