A flagship project for young parents and people leaving care has recently opened its doors in the Sunderland area.
The Y-Not? Project, which has been running since January this year, offers a wide variety of activities for young parents and young people who have recently left care. It takes place two nights a week at The Place, based at Hendon Health Centre. The Place provides support, advice and opportunities to young parents and care leavers from across the city.
