Goals: Peer education for lesbians and bisexual women under the age of 25

Funding: 72,280 has come from Comic Relief for three years.

When NHS Greater Glasgow and Glasgow Women's Library surveyed young lesbian, gay and bisexual people in the city last year, they found high incidences of depression, eating disorders, self-harm and thoughts of suicide. Compiled from 122 questionnaires, the resulting report, Something to Tell You, assesses the difficulties young people face when coming to terms with their sexuality. It has given a boost to organisations such as Lesbians in Peer Support, launched in 2000 and now an established support group for young lesbian and bisexual women in the west of Scotland.
