I teach a child who's just turned seven. His behaviour wasn't too badlast year, but since last September it's got much worse. He'll pokeother children's eyes or throw xylophones at them. It's not all thetime, usually once each class. But it means the other children are atrisk, a lot of their time is wasted and he's not learning or enjoyingthe lesson.
He does have help from a learning assistant but it's only for 10minutes, three times a week. It's usually just me and 32 children.
