Places to go - Cambridge

1 min read
Cambridge is home to the world-renowned university, and its 31 historic colleges dominate much of the city centre.

Among the attractions worth visiting are All Saints Church, which is considered one of the finest examples of Gothic revival architecture in the country. The Cambridge University Library houses a series of exhibitions, including one that traces the university's origins back 800 years. At the University Museum of Zoology, visitors can see materials collected by naturalist Charles Darwin.

But Cambridge is no museum piece. For those seeking more excitement, you can hire a manned punt and see the city from the river. The city also hosts a number of free festivals, including Pop in the Park, Summer in the City and the Cambridge Science Festival, which takes place between 9-22 March.
