Participation: YMCA events encourage democracy for young

1 min read

YMCA England has trained 29 young people aged 16 to 25 to become peer educators on local issues. "Some of the young people have organised Question Time-style events, while others are more informal, like political speed-networking. But they are all bringing key decision makers such as local MPs into an environment that is friendly and comfortable for young people."
