Young people will be able to stage debates on European issues in a network of centres that will open across the UK later this month.
The Europe Direct centres, which were agreed by the European Commission this month, will open in eight of the nine English regions, as well as Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
A network of 25 UK centres is planned. They will offer information on European institutions, legislation and funding opportunities.
Patrick McMenamin, head of international affairs at YouthLink Scotland, said: "We want young workers to find out what opportunities are available in Europe."
The UK will receive a grant from the commission of 570,000. Partner organisations will get about 16,000 each for each of the next three years.
