Opinion: If I were in charge of ... My local council

1 min read
At the moment my council allows complaints but does not follow them up. If I were in charge I would change that so that people like myself would be able to receive help.

With a lot of councils they do not hold themselves responsible for anyproblems that occur within their properties, I believe that isn'tappropriate.

I would guarantee that it's changed so that people can finally savetheir money for the things really needed in life.

I would make the council more involved with the community. I would makemore youth groups that would help to build confidence with the councilto make the local areas safer and more efficient.

I would make the council properties cheaper to buy or rent for the lesswealthy people as without that help they may end up homeless. I like myestate but unfortunately there isn't much to do, in my opinion this thenencourages crime among the youths today. I think that the councildoesn't do enough to keep the youths occupied; keeping them occupiedwill lower crime within the community and also lower the fear ofprevious victims of crime.
