Opinion: If I were in charge of - A swimming pool. Holly McGrath, 8, Battersea

1 min read
I once had a dream about this swimming pool and me and my friend Nicole were there. When I woke up the next morning I was really disappointed that I wasn't actually there. I had this picture of me and Nicole on the train and I thought it was from when we went to the swimming pool. But it wasn't. It was when we went to Brighton.

So I would make a swimming pool like the one in my dream.

I'd get lots of big slides like at Thorpe Park. They would be those tubes that all the water goes down before you splash into the pool - they're wicked - and I'd have a normal slide that's really high up.

It would be nice to have a big water play area. And I'd maybe have a see-saw for the little ones. I love diving boards - I'd have small ones for little children and higher ones for the older ones.

I'd have a place for adults where they could get away from the children - because sometimes adults can really get on our nerves.
