Opinion: If I were in charge of ... a fairground - Betty Powell, 8,west London

1 min read
The first thing I would do is make all the rides fun, make it all like rollercoasters and stuff. I'd just make it for big children not for tiny five-year-olds. When you have tiny five-year-olds it takes up more space when you could have a big ride there.

If I had a dream ride it would be a really, really, really tallrollercoaster and as soon as you got to the middle of going down therewould be a loop and then you'd get water poured all over you.

I'd have a jumping bean, which is one of the really tall things whereyou go up and down again. Instead of just having a great big straightone, I'd have one that you could go up and it would all go twisty andthen when you go down you're like "Aaaaaaah!".

The best thing about being in charge of a fairground would be you'd getto go on the rides to check if they were safe and even if you'd gothurt, you'd have still been on the rides. It would be fun because you'dget to design loads of rides yourself.
