OPINION: If I were in charge of ... fashion stores - Judith Merry, 15, Buckinghamshire

I would change everything around to make it accessible for wheelchair users. Most shops are quite cramped. They pack things in and have loads of racks all around the shop, so it's quite hard getting around and you worry about pulling the clothes over as you go. So I'd make sure the spaces in the aisles are big enough.

Staff would know to help if someone in a wheelchair needs to reach the clothes. I'd like to have a system where clothes that are hanging higher up can be electronically brought down by machine - so you just press a button and they come down for you.

The tills would be lower and one changing room would be big and comfy for wheelchair users and have full-length mirrors and lower hooks.

Then I'd see how clothes designs could be adjusted for people in wheelchairs to make them easier to put on without the changes being too noticeable, like drawstrings at the bottom of each trouser leg, so you could tighten and shorten your trousers when you want to get in or out of the chair.
