Evidence from research published by the University of Missouri-Columbia has found that people that play violent video games have a greater propensity to commit aggressive acts. Those who believe that playing violent video games has no effect on the person playing are ignoring the facts. The link exists, and should give us a great deal of cause for concern. British research into the effects of video games has so far been inconclusive. Because of ethical difficulties associated with exposing children to adult material, however, it is difficult to secure conclusive evidence either way.
