I believe young people have the sense to recognise that a video game is an entirely different scenario to driving a vehicle on the road.
Young people I have spoken to thought that banning this advert was a "waste of time" as no-one's actual driving would be influenced by such a game. Games such as these can provide an ideal starting point from which youth workers can engage young people in programmes such as UK Youth's First Gear that promote responsible driving.
