I think we have to have a really broad range of knowledge. But we are professionals and know when to pass things on to others with more specialist skills.
If we're not trained to a certain level, we will refer the young person to someone else. Personal advisers are professionals and know how far to take information before passing it on. We have to have contacts within other agencies so we can support young people.
For me, it's not a difficult job, but a really interesting and exciting role. Every day, the young people need different types and levels of support.
