Laura is angry that fashion magazines persistently feature unnaturally skinny girls, and Emily blames irresponsible role models such as Victoria Beckham and Kate Moss for the increasing numbers of young women obsessed with reaching size zero. Laura and Emily encourage their peers to reject this dangerous trend by campaigning to get size-zero models banned from advertising.
The winter issue of Lik:T is on a similar mission to empower women. Its writers embark on a quest to find out if pornography can ever be pro-women, or pro-lesbian, and unearth scandalous results. The journalists are unable to see adult entertainment as anything but degrading and dehumanising after a Google search for "lesbian porn".
