Aim To involve young people in Nottingham at risk of offending in a summer arts performance project

Urban Angels run a summer arts and performance project for young people not in education, employment and training.

Local Connexions and youth offending teams refer young people to the project, but the scheme is also open to aspiring young artists with time on their hands during the summer.

Professional artists work with the young participants to devise their own scripts, using a range of multi-media to explore a specific theme.

This summer around 20 young people, aged between 16 and 19, are devising and rehearsing for a performance called The Bunker, to be staged at the Nottingham Contemporary arts venue in August.
