On the ground: Me & my youth worker - 'It's important to have some stability'

1 min read
Anisha, 19, and Cristiana Sinibaldi, support and development worker for Centrepoint

- When did you meet?

Cristiana: "I was working at our Berwick Street drop-in centre in Westminster, London, three years ago and Anisha came in as a self-referral. She was having problems at home and said she couldn't stay there any more, so we helped find her an emergency placement."

Anisha: "I wasn't getting on with my family and didn't have anywhere else to go. I'm from Haringey but the nearest emergency centre I could find was in Westminster, so I went there. Cristiana was great. She listened to me and found me place in the local Foyer."

- What type of advice did you provide to Anisha?
