I used to want to be an actress, but I veered away from that career path when I had my little girl, although I knew I still wanted to work in the industry.

I came to Lewisham College to study technical theatre, and learned how to do all of the behind-the-scenes work.

Being a young mum and a student is hard work, but I knew it would be. I'm really dedicated and always think about what's best in the long run.

There's a nursery at the college, so I drop my little girl off there in the morning and pick her up after class. A lot of people think that having a child limits your opportunities, but that hasn't been the case for me.

I was accepted into five universities this year. I've decided to go to Rada to do a degree in stage management. I picked Rada because it's the best of the best. Within a year of coming to Lewisham College, I'm going on to the best drama school in the country.
