The job market is really tough for young people right now. I want to be a youth worker one day and although I'm applying for university, I know that a degree isn't going to be enough to guarantee me a job.

Luckily, I've always done a lot of voluntary work, which I know will help me stand out from the crowd. As well as being on the Harlow and Essex YouthBanks, issuing grants for young people-led projects, I give talks to young people who have been excluded from mainstream education about the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. I believe young people have a lot to offer society and want to help others like me have a voice.
