Paul Smyth, director of Public Achievement, and Laura McFall, action research officer, held training sessions and meetings in Ramallah, Haifa, Tel Aviv and Jerusalem last month. The project was funded by the Community Relations Council as part of the EU Peace II programme.
Smyth said the visit went well. "The rest of the world looks at Northern Ireland as a good example of how to move on from ethnic conflict," he said. "It was great to be able to provide advice about the interventions that can work in these regions."
