JEDI - Joint Equity, Diversity and Interdependence - is based at the Youth Council for Northern Ireland's Belfast office. It launched in 2000 to support policy and practice in community relations across the youth sector.
To signal the end of the pilot phase, Windows on Practice, a document on its principles, is to be published this week.
Norma Rea, development officer at the youth council, said: "As well as providing a resource for reflective self-evaluation, we anticipate that it will contribute to the development of dialogue and shared good practice across the sector."
David Guilfoyle, youth council chief executive, said: "This is clearly a model that addresses local issues here in Northern Ireland, but it is also one that is readily transferred to the challenges faced when developing effective youth work practice within multicultural societies."
