NCB Now: Young NCB share views on research

Two Young NCB members spoke about their involvement in NCB research projects at a conference earlier this month at the Institute of Child Health in London.

Mattie Kayukwa and Laureen Ndagire gave a presentation with NCB research director Ruth Sinclair on making research more child-centred.

Mattie and Laureen, who have been trained by NCB as young researchers, spoke about their experiences, while Dr Sinclair outlined the benefits of involving children at all stages of the research process and how to make this meaningful.

The conference was attended by multidisciplinary healthcare staff, researchers and managers, and was sponsored by the North Central London Children's and Young People's Network.
