Children in Scotland has launched a unique new publication on designingspaces for children. Making Space: Award winning designs for youngchildren brings together the contributions of architects, planners,educators, psychologists, brain scientists and children on design andthe use of space.
The publication, sponsored by Architecture and Design Scotland,celebrates the ideas and designs that came out of the internationalarchitecture and design for young children award in 2005, and lastDecember's Children in Scotland conference on the subject.
Bronwen Cohen, chief executive of Children in Scotland, said: "We canlearn a great deal from innovative practice across the world, which thispublication highlights."
