NCB Now: Substance misuse education review

NCB has started work on a review of substance misuse education for young people under 18 in custody, funded by the Youth Justice Board (YJB).

The project, which runs until October 2004, will start by mapping existing good practice across the juvenile secure estate, along with a literature review.

The project team would like to hear from anyone who knows of or has used materials or programmes designed for substance misuse education with young people in custody.

The team is also interested in learning about materials for use with young people in other settings which could be adapted for this purpose.
