NCB Now: Schools invited to join life skills project

Make a Connection, a life skills project based at NCB, has appointed a new development officer, Gillian Symons, to take its school programme forward.

Since its introduction to schools in 2002, Make a Connection has proved to be a popular teaching resource in a range of educational settings.

To kick-start its expansion, Symons is inviting NCB member schools in London to participate in the programme and receive a free copy of the resource. They will also benefit from free training and support for teachers and tailor-made assessment and evaluation materials. Symons will also be working with Healthy School co-ordinators to raise awareness of the programme.
