On 11 March, a festival celebrating children's participation in research was held at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff. By Us, For Us, About Us: A Children and Young People's Festival of Participation was organised by Cardiff University in association with the children's commissioner for Wales and Children in Wales in memory of Wales' first children's commissioner, the late Peter Clarke.
It provided a range of interactive displays enabling young people to learn more about research and gain many ideas to take back to their schools and organisations. Highly interactive exhibitions engaged children and young people in dissemination activities and presented findings from research conducted with or about children and young people.
