On 13 November, the Disability Forum, run by Children in Wales, will be holding an information day on participation. While the meaningful involvement of children and young people in all aspects of their life is important, little is known about the participation of disabled children.
At the information day, the findings from three reports will be heard: What Makes My Family Strong from Contact a Family, Disabled Families in Flux: Removing Barriers to Family Life from Scope and Participation in the Life Situations of 8- to 12-year-old Children with Cerebral Palsy. The conference will also hear the messages disabled young people want to share with politicians.
