Information day on supporting parents.

Children in Wales is organising an information day to explore strategies for supporting parents. The day will explore good practice and give delegates the opportunity to share experiences.

Delegates will learn about: services in Swansea for parents in the black, Asian and ethnic minority community, services for teenage parents, work being done to support fathers, ways to support vulnerable parents, and services for perpetrators and victims of domestic abuse. An understanding of the Family Partnership model, a framework for helping families that can be used to prevent psycho-social problems, will also be provided.

- The information day will take place in Cardiff on 10 February. For more information, email Lucy Akhtar at lucy.akhtar@childreninwales.org.uk
