NCB Now: News from Wales - Parents And Schools - Making TheConnection

This conference on Monday 16 October, timed to coincide with National Parenting Week and Family Learning Week, is being organised jointly by Children in Wales' networks Fforwm Magu Plant/Parenting Forum and Fatherhood Wales. The event will investigate the Scottish model where there is legislation around parents' involvement in schools.

The results of a national survey on parents' relationships with theirchildren's schools will be launched at the conference and there will bean exploration of fathers' involvement and the impact of the forthcominggender equality duty.
