NCB Now: NCB staff to brave the elements

1 min read
Two members of NCB staff have committed to raise money by undertaking international treks and challenges later this year. They will be the first international challenges undertaken for NCB, and are expected to be incredible experiences for the fundraisers, as well as a great way to raise funds.

First off is fundraising officer Christina Flynn, who will complete the Hilltribe Jungle Trek through northern Vietnam. She will complete a 10-day trek through hills and jungle, and the adventure will involve extreme exercise, heat and sleeping in the jungle with all sorts of creepy-crawlies for company.

She said: "This will be a big challenge for me physically, but I am throwing myself into it because I want to raise as much money as I can for NCB. I have never done anything like this before and am not the fittest person, but I am so excited about it and very proud to be able to represent NCB."
