1 min read
NCB's Charity of the Year partnership with recruitment specialists Eden Brown has come to an end and the fundraising team at NCB would like to thank everyone who helped raise more than 6,000.

The partnership commenced in January 2009 with Eden Brown staff members asking their directors to take part in a challenge to see who could raise the most money for NCB over two weeks. The director who raised the least amount of money was given the unfortunate forfeit of having his legs waxed.

Other highlights of the year included Eden Brown staff member Jaime Nutt and her friend Donna Foot-Batten undertaking a parachute jump, and Russell Bennett taking part in an Iron Man endurance feat that saw him and five team mates step twice as high as Mount Everest, run the equivalent of the London Marathon three times and row the distance of the English Channel four times.
