NCB Now: Take a parachute and jump for NCB

1 min read
Two adventurous friends, Donna Foot-Batten and Jaime Nutt, did a fundraising parachute jump for NCB on 12 April at the Oxford RAF airfield. The brave women raised 1,050 together, and considered the jump an experience that everyone should have at least once.

Foot-Batten said: "Jumping through clouds hurts, believe it or not ... It was freezing cold and we couldn't see a thing, which made a surreal experience even stranger. This is something everyone should experience - it's truly amazing."

Nutt, who works at NCB's charity partner of the year Eden Brown, praised the instructors who showed them the ropes before jumping with them.

Both women undertook a 10,000ft tandem jump with their instructors.

Nutt said: "It was a brilliant day and all my family came out to watch. The guys were so great, and really put us at ease. I can't think of a better way to spend a Saturday morning."
