Barbara Hearn, chair of Participation Works, said: "Our consortium members have a common commitment to involve children in decisions that affect them, and we all want to ensure quality. Each member complements each other."
Participation Works' recent conference event is a concrete example of how collaboration can work. NCB was involved in chairing and organising the conference, at which a publication produced by the Children's Rights Alliance for England was launched. Young people represented The National Youth Agency by exhibiting their products and services.
