NCB Now: Event to make participation work

Participation Works will be holding a free conference to launch, Listen and Change, a guide to children and young people's participation rights.

Make Participation Work will be held on 20 February at Church House Conference Centre, London.

Paul Ennals, chief executive of NCB, will chair the conference and Phil Hope, minister for the Third Sector, will be the keynote speaker. Other guest speakers will include: Harry Shier, participation expert and practitioner fellow at the University of the West of England; Ahmed Al-aagam, Commission for Youth Social Enterprise; Jeremy Holmes, Carnegie UK Trust; and Carolyne Willow, Children's Rights Alliance for England.
