The Skills Development Programme (SDP) is an initiative that enables young people who have been out of work for over six months to have the opportunity of consistent employment. Young people are supported before, during and after their placement to ensure that they have the skills needed for the workplace and the ability to secure long-term employment afterwards. We work in partnership with other voluntary sector organisations that provide opportunities for our young people.
What is the aim of the programme?
To provide employment opportunities for young people and to equip them with the right skills for the workplace. An added bonus of the programme is the links that have been built with voluntary sector organisations.
