NCB Now: A force for global change

1 min read
The International Youth Foundation is a global partner network seeking to expand the reach of thousands of programmes around the world already working to make a difference in the lives of children and young people.

Imagine an international network of children's and young people's organisations working together for positive youth development on a global scale, with each deeply committed to solving problems in its own country as well.

Such a network, in fact, does exist. The International Youth Foundation (IYF), established in 1990, works in more than 70 countries to prepare young people to be healthy, productive and engaged citizens.

NCB joined the global network as a UK partner in 2004. It is currently working with IYF on Life Routes, a life skills programme that is active in 26 countries and funded by Nokia as part of a global initiative between Nokia and the IYF.
