I'm a member of Roundhay School Forum. It has achieved a lot over the past two years; we've managed to build a new seating area within the school and we also changed the school uniform to something the kids wanted.

The new uniform is the same as the old uniform but with optional clothing. For example, many kids wanted black v-neck jumpers and black polo shirts, which could be worn all year round. We managed to get the school to meet our request, so now we have the new stylish uniforms that we all wanted, thanks to Roundhay School Forum.

Many people think children cannot make a change to society or their community, but we have proven them wrong because we have made a change within our own community, which is our school. This change is good for the pupils of Roundhay School because we are now being heard and beating the stereotyped view of teenagers as being violent, rude yobs.
