The project is the first of its kind in the area, and will see thelibrary open its doors between 5pm and 7pm every Thursday.
Young people will have the chance to use the internet, a Wii gamingconsole and computers for free, and will be able to borrow books, CDsand DVDs.
A programme of activities will also be on offer, including filmmaking,manga drawing and karaoke.
