
It all started when I was in Year 2 and I saw a flyer for a drama, dance and singing Saturday class. I started at the Saturday class a few weeks after that and really liked it. I was in many plays, including the Wizard of Oz and Cinderella, and I won an award for star drama.
I had been there for three years when the manager announced that as the drama teacher was leaving, the school was just going to concentrate on dancing and singing. I was dismayed. I liked the dancing and singing but it was drama I really enjoyed. I stayed for the last end of term show and awards ceremony. I was happy to win the personality award. But I left the school for the last time that night.
