When I began secondary school I was okay for the first couple of months. Then I started to get in trouble and I kept losing my temper.

My mum referred me to the Hillingdon youth inclusion and support project. I found the staff there quite strict but this was good for my progress. I was given tips on how to control my anger - they would tell me to count to 10 or ask the teacher for time out if I felt I was beginning to lose my temper.

The project also arranged for us to go on trips, I went to the Isle of Wight to the "parents get lost" activity centre and also Legoland. They were a lot of fun and I also met other kids my age who were experiencing similar problems with their anger.
