
I’m interested in psychology and want to teach art therapy in prisons. I’ve been drawing since I can remember. Art gives people self-confidence and helps them to express what they cannot put into words. I have visited someone who is in prison, but I’ve not been put off going in there to help people.
Voluntary youth organisation Rathbone has put me in touch with the Offender Development through Drama (ODD) Theatre. Even though it sounds like they just do drama, they teach all kinds of art projects. I know they are working with young people in areas affected by last year’s riots and recording interviews with adults about what they think about
