It's showtime in a Sheffield theatre. Back stage a small boy from alocal estate is being sick. Stage fright has set in and PaulineEveleigh, director of Sheffield's children's festival, is feelingguilty.

"Afterwards he told me he never thought he'd do it, but now he knows hecan and that means he can do other good things as well," she says withrelief.

For Eveleigh, confidence building is what the annual children's festivalis all about.
