When 15-year-old Rizwan arrived in Britain he was alone except for a manwho had travelled with him from Pakistan.
When the man excused himself for a few minutes, Rizwan started to noticehow well-dressed everyone was, and the different smells and cultures ofthe people who rushed past.
After three hours he realised the man was not coming back, and therealisation that he was alone in a country where he did not speak thelanguage and had no money began to dawn on him.
