A private day nursery and a primary school in North Yorkshire has joined forces to launch an after-school and holiday club. Chipmonks Nursery, which is based in Giggleswick, is working with Settle Primary School to offer the service.
A new community room at Bannerman Road Children's Centre in Bristol has been named after a loyal supporter. The Hazel Room is a tribute to 74-year-old Hazel Bailey, who works at the centre five days a week.
One of the first children's centres in the London Borough of Hillingdon has celebrated its official opening. The centre is based at Belmore Primary School, and offers services including parent-and-toddler sessions and health services.
