Willingdon Children's Centre in Eastbourne has opened a sensory room for families with children who have special needs. The centre has also launched a monthly drop-in session called Something Special.
Families in Ramsbottom will soon be able to benefit from Bury's first "virtual children's centre". It will offer services from venues co-ordinated by a council officer based at the local library.
Pupils at Brynford Primary School in Holywell, Flintshire, held a party to mark the launch of its first after-school club, Cool Kidz Club. The club is open to all pupils every weekday until 5.30pm.
A family fun day marked the official launch of the newest centre in Penwith, Cornwall. Services on offer at The Centre, based at Newlyn Trinity Methodist Church, include a toy library and Play and Weigh sessions for new mums and babies.
