The 60m development includes a 1,200-place secondary, a primaryschool, children's centre and The Bridge School for children with severedisabilities.
Telford and Wrekin Council joined forces with building services groupInterServe for the ambitious private finance initiative. The fact it wascompleted ahead of schedule is something everyone is proud of, saysacting project manager Clive Jones.
While the project has gone well, there were lessons learned, adds Jones,whose main job is senior finance manager for the council.
One concerned the management of consultants both internal andexternal.
"You have to be very clear on the focus and who is doing what," saysJones. "The last thing you want is five consultants in one room who'veall done the same thing."
