In Practice: Cash in hand - Jack Petchey Foundation

The Jack Petchey Foundation gives grants to projects that benefit children and young people aged 11 to 25 in parts of London and Essex. It has already expanded the areas eligible for funding this year with more, such as the London borough of Sutton and Braintree in Essex, due to be added in the autumn.

The foundation offers project grants of between 5,000 and 50,000 to organisations including schools, charities and youth clubs. Asa general rule the foundation rarely funds more than half of the totalcost of a project. There are no deadlines for applications.
